It will be incredibly useful if players want to quickly approach the reaper or run away from one. The fight itself will take also take a long time, so players either need to have extra oxygen tanks on their person or have ready access to a vehicle. It is also highly recommended to have a fully-charged seaglide for quick transport. Even if the player is wearing a reinforced dive suit, the damage received will be extensive. The reaper leviathan is likely going to land several attacks, and this will deal more than enough damage to kill the player several times over. For starters, stock up on first aid kits.
This is a big update.Due to the player being at an obvious disadvantage, players need to do a decent amount of prep work before they actually try to start the fight. The update also refines the UI with nicer indicators for health, food and o2, as well as adding new secrets to the world. While that would be terrible, you can at least salvage parts from it to make building a new one a little easier. If you don't, you risk your Cyclops being destroyed for good. That'll mean putting out fires, using the welding tool to fix up holes in the hull and more. You can scan nearby terrain for a 360-degree view of where you are, a threat indicator will let you know where dangers are, manual shields can now give you added protection from those same threats and a damage display will let you know how you're getting on.īecause the Cyclops can now be damaged though, you will need to get out there and repair it on occasion.
